Roles & Responsibilities

As a freelance content strategist for a pet foods brand in San Francisco, covering a maternity leave, I took on several key roles:

  • Content Strategy Lead: Led content strategy for three brands, coordinating with agency teams and managing the approval process with internal stakeholders.

  • Community Manager: Managed customer service duties for Meow Mix, Kibbles & Bits, and Pupperoni, ensuring timely and effective communication with consumers.

  • Client Briefs: Wrote client briefs for the FCB agency in Chicago, collaborating with the creative agency to ensure the creative direction aligned with the overall strategy.

  • Campaign Leadership: Directed several social media campaigns, including the #TreatsForAll campaign, which focused on showcasing consumers’ belief that their pets can communicate and empathize with them.

  • Event Management: Managed a live chat event on Valentine’s Day called #DoggyDateNight, which successfully engaged over 500 participants on Twitter with minimal paid effort.

At the end of my contract, I was offered a full-time role, highlighting the impact and success of my contributions.
