S.C. Johnson Paid Social Quarterly Campaigns

The strategy team at Ogilvy Tokyo collaborated with SC Johnson, a leading manufacturer of household cleaning products, to manage and execute paid social media campaigns across multiple APAC regions. The challenge was to ensure consistent, high-quality content production, translations, and coordination across diverse markets, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, and Cambodia.

The Ogilvy Tokyo team took on the responsibility of overseeing SC Johnson's paid social efforts across these regions. As the social management leads, we managed several key tasks:

  • Content Coordination: Managed quarterly content order forms (COFs) from each region, ensuring all content aligned with SC Johnson's brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

  • Content Production and Translation: Oversaw content production and translation processes to ensure culturally relevant and high-quality content for each region.

  • Client Liaison: Acted as the primary point of contact between client teams across APAC countries and our internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

  • Campaign Execution: Directed the routing of content to Ogilvy community managers and media teams across APAC for publishing and boosting, ensuring timely and effective campaign execution.

The strategic management and execution of these tasks led to the successful launch of four quarterly paid/targeted social media campaigns across seven countries:

  • Effective Coordination: Ensured seamless coordination and communication between client teams and Ogilvy's community managers and media teams.

  • High-Quality Content: Produced and translated lower-funnel content that resonated with local audiences while maintaining SC Johnson's brand standards.

  • Timely Campaign Launches: Successfully launched and managed four quarterly campaigns, enhancing SC Johnson's brand presence, engagement, and sales across the APAC region.

This multi-channel approach not only maintained the brand's consistency and quality across diverse markets but also significantly boosted SC Johnson's visibility and customer engagement throughout the APAC region.
